A company's most important asset is its people and Floan-Sanders has taken great care to retain individuals that exhibit the highest level of professional accuracy and personal integrity.  Our employees use creativity and sound logic in finding solutions for our clients and are empowered to make decisions in the best interest of our customers.

The following is a brief introduction to some of our key personnel.

 
     Partners                                                                                                    

Greg Boppre, PE is the President of Floan-Sanders and has been working in the Engineering and Surveying fields since 1979.  He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology.  He serves as Project Manager for all projects in the City of East Grand Forks and provides guidance to staff working on projects in other communities.
Brad Bail, PE is the Vice-President of Floan-Sanders and has been working in the Engineering field since 1989.  He graduated from the University of North Dakota with degrees in both Civil Engineering and Computer Science.
  
     Key Design and Construction Personnel                                            
  Steve Emery, PE graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and has been working in the field since 1996.  He serves as the Lead Design Engineer for most of our projects outside of East Grand Forks.  
  Jaroslav Solc is an Engineer-in-Training and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Civil Engineering degree in 2006.  He assists on a variety of engineering and surveying projects.  
  Mark Anderson is our Senior Engineering Technician at Floan-Sanders and has been with our firm since 1983.  He received his professional AutoCAD training from the Area Vocational Technical Institute in Thief River Falls as well as Professional Microstation Training from CAD/CAM Engineering Systems Incorporated in Eagan, MN.  He is responsible for plan drafting, design, construction design, on-site verification, document research, inspection, mapping and 3-D modeling and rendering.  
  Randy Iverson has been working as a draftsman and construction inspector since 1972.  He has extensive experience in drafting and construction inspection on a variety of civil engineering projects.  
 
Tom Stenseth has been with Floan-Sanders since 1992 and serves as our Lead Construction Inspector on a variety of engineering Projects.  Tom is certified in MNDOT Grading and Base I and II, Concrete Field Testing Levels I and II, Bituminous Pavement Inspection Levels I and II, and Aggregate Production.
  
     Professional Surveyors                                                                           
 
Pat Krug, RLS has been a professional land surveyor since 1980 and has been with Floan-Sanders since 1986.  As Survey Manager at Floan-Sanders, his responsibilities include design work, construction staking and surveying, inspection, field testing and gradations, general surveying, coordination of field projects, subdivision surveying, data collection, and data entry. Pat is proficienct in the use of GPS Survey Equipment.
  
 
Gary Caskey, RLS has 21 years of experience in surveying and is a registered land surveyor in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wyoming. 
  
     Administrative Professionals                                                                
 
Marilyn Bren has over 40 years of office and business management and has been the Office Manager for Floan-Sanders since 1988.  Her duties involve all aspects of office management, including accounting, human resources, and insurance planning.
  
 
Kellie Rygg has 20 years of experience as a Secretary/Receptionist, including 6 years as a legal assistant, and started as the Administrative Assistant in our East Grand Forks office in 2006.
  
  Christi Stonecipher graduated from the University of North Dakota with a double major in Marketing and Management.  She has over 10 years of experience working in project coordination and communications on large public projects. She has served as the Marketing Director for Floan-Sanders, Inc. since 2003.  
  Jerry Skyberg started with Floan-Sanders in 2009 and has 28 years of experience working for the City of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, primarily serving as the City's Building Official. He also served as the City's Director of Flood Recovery after the historic 1997 flood.  Jerry is assisting with the acquisition process for the US Army Corps of Engineers Flood Control Project in East Grand Forks.
